Why do we pretend to know the answers when we really don't?
Because we can't stand to go without an answer, it drives us mad. Say you're trying to remember an actor or actress that stared in a film, you think you know who it is, but you can't remember their name, it's on the tip of your tongue. It's going to drive you crazy until you figure it out.
That's the clearest example.
A few other examples are science.
We think through a few trials and test we can solve the mysteries before us, and infact we pour millions and billions and trillions of dollars into research and development.
All of our efforts to cure that incalculable itch.
Crazy. Obsessive. Over-reactive.
Why ask why, when you can ask 'what now?'
Don't drown in the past, move on!
but then that's why things never stay the same, and why would want that? Change is good. But so is something that is consistent.
So who are you? A ghost stuck in the past, reminiscing the yesterdays of old? A non-stop heartbeat of the present? Or a Overbearing over-planning worry wart of the future?
Fuck, I need to figure out what I'm going to do now.
